Research on the historic
expedition huts at Ellesmere Island. These investigations access
deterioration in the wooden huts built by explorers Robert Peary,
Matthew Hensen and others during their expeditions to the North
Polar region in 1900 and Fort Conger built during the US expedition
in 1881- 1884 to the Arctic by Adolphus Greely and his crew.
