Research on the historic expedition huts at Ellesmere Island. These investigations access deterioration in the wooden huts built by explorers Robert Peary, Matthew Hensen and others during their expeditions to the North Polar region in 1900 and Fort Conger built during the US expedition in 1881- 1884 to the Arctic by Adolphus Greely and his crew.
